Biography

Adi Hütter began his career on the bench in August 2007 as assistant coach with Red Bull Salzburg's youth team. Appointed head coach in May 2008, with whom he finished league champion, he then joined SCR Altach for three seasons. He continued his career with SV Grödig, helping them to the top flight in 2013, before taking part in their first Europa League the following year. It was a successful spell that opened the door to the Red Bull Salzburg first team. After a successful return with a league and cup double in 2015, he headed for Switzerland and Young Boys Bern. A champion in 2018, his profile attracted Eintracht Frankfurt, who lured him back the following summer. He reached the semi-finals of the Europa League and finished 7th in the league in 2019. It was a superb season that earned him the title of Germany's best coach by the daily Bild. After three seasons, Borussia Mönchengladbach offered him their services, but his adventure lasted just one season. He joined AS Monaco in July 2023.
