Lucas Michal on loan to FC Metz
Developed at the Academy, Lucas Michal (20) joins FC Metz. The midfielder, who is under contract with the Club of the Principality until June 2029, will continue his development in the French league.
Has been part of the professional squad
This season, following on from the previous two campaigns, Lucas has been part of the first team squad. Since making his debut against FC Nantes on the final matchday of the 2023–2024 season, he has made close to 20 appearances in the Red & White jersey across all competitions (Ligue 1, UEFA Champions League and Coupe de France).
Winner of the Gambardella in 2023
A native of Ivry-sur-Seine (Val-de-Marne), having previously played for US Ivry, Paris FC and US Torcy, the France U20 international, who was joint top scorer at the U20 World Cup held in Chile last September, joined AS Monaco’s Academy in the summer of 2020. Winner of the Coupe Gambardella in May 2023, he went on to sign his first professional contract shortly thereafter.
It is with Ligue 1 counterparts FC Metz that Lucas Michal will continue his development until the end of the season.
