Thiago Scuro's reaction after the Champions League draw
It’s time for competition! This Thursday evening, our Rouge et Blanc discovered the identity of the eight teams they will have the honor of facing in their 2025-2026 Champions League campaign. Following the draw, which took place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco AS Monaco CEO, Thiago Scuro spoke with the media. 🎙️
Good evening, Thiago. How do you feel about the draw?
It’s an exciting draw, especially at the Stade Louis-II, where we’ll have the chance to host some great teams. We won’t be playing any teams we faced last season, which makes it even more exciting. We’ll also be discovering new countries, new leagues, and new experiences.
We hope to repeat the work done last year on the pitch and of course also off it, by bringing the Champions League back to Monaco and offering a rewarding experience to visiting fans, as well as to our supporters.
What are the objectives for this season in the competition?
Last season was a little frustrating with elimination in the play-off round against Benfica. The first step is to get through this league phase. We’ll see what happens after that, but the goal is to go further than last season.
