Breel Embolo is called up for Switzerland for Euro Qualifying!
The Monegasque striker, scorer of 12 goals in Ligue 1 this season, is in Murat Yakin's squad to play two games with the Nati against Andorra and Romania, as part of Euro 2024 Qualifying.

This time, no injury should prevent him from participating in the international matches. After missing out with a knee injury last March,, Breel Embolo is finally ready to take part in Qualifying for the 2024 Euros with Switzerland against Andorra and Romania. Once again called up by Murat Yakin for the June set of fixtures, the Monegasque striker has been included in a list of 24 players for two matches scheduled as part of Qualifying for the European Championships.

Two matches to take the next step

The Nati are traveling to Andorra on Friday June 16, then will host Romania three days later, for the third and fourth matchdays of these group stages. In good position after their two wins, 5-0 and 3-0 over Belarus and Israel, and Switzerland are currently leaders of their group with six points, tied with Romania.

It is always a pleasure and a pride to represent your country. Wearing this jersey, since my first call-ups as young people, it's a dream and it is also a source of pride for the whole family.

Four goals in his last seven matches

And there is no doubt that the Rouge et Blanc number 36 will be determined to find the net in order to conclude what has been a fine individual season in this regard. With AS Monaco, he set a personal record for goals in one season by scoring 14 times in all competitions, including 12 in the league.

Scorer of four goals in his last seven matches, the native of Yaoundé will have a great opportunity to add to this total starting with the match against Andorra. Bravo and good luck Breel! 🇨🇭
