Harisson Marcelin joins Girondins de Bordeaux
AS Monaco announces the transfer of Harisson Marcelin, the Club's 23-year-old central defender, to Girondins de Bordeaux.

Trained at AJ Auxerre, a club with which he signed his first professional contract in 2018 and for whom he played 25 matches (1 goal), Harisson Marcelin joined AS Monaco in the winter of 2020. A French international at U-19 (8 caps, 2 goals) and U-20 level (3 caps), the tall central defenders (1,97m) was on loan at Cercle Brugge, AS Monaco’s sister club,  for the 2020-2021 and 2022-2023 seasons.

An enriching experience with Cercle

In his two loans with the Groen-Zwart, Harisson Marcelin played 42 matches in the Jupiler Pro League, scoring three goals. Last season, the native of Réunion notably took part in the majority of Cercle’s play-off matches and contributed to an historic season by Cercle, who finished sixth in the final table, their best record since 2008.

AS Monaco wishes him good luck in this new stage of his career.
