Ilane Touré signs his first professional contract
Originally from Tours (Indre-et-Loire), Ilane Touré first played at Étoile Bleue de Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire before joining the AS Monaco Academy in 2021. During the 2022-2023 season, Ilane Touré distinguished himself by playing more than twenty matches within the AS Monaco U17 and U19 teams.
Winner of the 2023 Coupe Gambardella
Furthermore, the young midfielder took part in the Coupe Gambardella campaign, under the direction of Frédéric Barilaro and Manuel Dos Santos. A starter in the quarterfinal against Nantes (1-0) and a substitute in the semi-final against Pau (2-0), Ilane contributed to the Principality’s progress, as they won the fifth Coupe Gambardella in their history.
A campaign in the UEFA Youth League
Last season, alongside his teammates from the U19 group and the players from the Elite Group, supervised by Djimi Traoré and Frédéric Barilaro, Ilane played in all of the club’s UEFA Youth League matches. He took part in prestigious victories against the young talents of FC Barcelona’s La Masia (4-3) and Benfica (1-0).
Ilane Touré also participated in the FFF Espoirs Challenge with the Elite Group, where the Rouge et Blanc reached the final. On the strength of these performances, he will soon join the French team to compete in the U20 World Cup, to be held in Chile from September 27 to October 19, alongside teammates Bradel Kiwa and Lucas Michal.
Trainee contracts for Mehdi Tlili and Melvin Gomes da Veiga
AS Monaco is pleased to announce the signing of a trainee contract for two Academy players playing with the U19s and who will be starting players in the first UEFA Youth League match against FC Bruges: Mehdi Tlili and Melvin Gomes da Veiga. Born in Nice in 2008, Mehdi Tlili joined AS Monaco in the U13 Association, before joining the Academy in the U17.

Otten Innovation Cup Winners
A Tunisian international, he notably participated in the 2025 U17 AFCON. Last August, the left back distinguished himself by scoring against PSV Eindhoven in the Otten Innovation Cup, a benchmark U19 tournament held in the Netherlands and won by the Rouge et Blanc. That same summer, he played his first match with the Elite Group against Olympique de Marseille, which ended in a 3-2 victory.
Born in Marseille in 2008, Melvin Gomes da Veiga joined AS Monaco in 2023, after playing for SC Air Bel (Bouches-du-Rhône). After a first season of adaptation, he established himself as a starter for the U17s during the 2024-2025 season. A versatile defender, capable of playing as a right back or centrally, he also won the Otten Innovation Cup this season, alongside Mehdi.
