After arriving in Europe from his native Senegal in 2017, Krépin Diatta chose Norway and Sarpsborg 08 FF to take his first steps on the Old Continent. After just one season (27 games, 8 goals and 8 assists), the right-sided attacking midfielder was immediately spotted by Club Brugge, who signed him in the summer of 2018. In Belgium, he played 95 games over two and a half seasons, and proved to be prolific with a whopping 20 goals and 11 assists. He finally moved to the Principality in January 2021, after making a fine start to the season with the reigning Belgian champions (19 games, 10 goals and 2 assists). Unfortunately, the right winger then suffered a cruciate ligament injury against Lille in November 2021, in which he scored a goal. And on his return to competitive action as a first-team regular, he scored with a sublime volley against Strasbourg on Matchday 1 of Ligue 1 in the 2022-2023 season. In the 2023-2024 season, he played 26 matches for the Principality. In his fifth season with the Rouge et Blanc, the Senegalese player played in 24 matches.
