Lamine Camara and Krépin Diatta will represent Senegal at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations
They will, unsurprisingly, be part of their country’s next adventure. They are key players for their national team, and with the 2026 World Cup in their sights, Lamine Camara and Krépin Diatta are set to have a busy season at the international level. The two AS Monaco players will indeed be competing in various events before the global event, including the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which we played in Morocco from December 21 to January 18.

Drawing inspiration from the 2021 triumph 🏆
The Rouge et Blanc midfielders have indeed been included in Senegal’s squad, aiming to once again reach the pinnacle of African football, four years after the Lions of Teranga’s last victory. Back then, former Monaco players Fodé Ballo-Touré, Abdou Diallo, and Nampalys Mendy were part of the team that triumphed in the final, after a penalty shootout against Egypt.

It is up to this new generation to repeat this feat, starting by successfully navigating the group stage, during which the men of Pape Thiaw, drawn into Group D, here they will successively face Botswana (December 23), the Democratic Republic of Congo (December 27), and then Benin (December 30).
