A second participation in this tournament

This is an annual competition, organized by the Gunners since 2007, which the Principality club is already familiar with having participated in in the summer of 2014. At the time, the Monegasques drew against Valencia (2-2), before a big win against Arsenal (1-0), thanks to Radamel Falcao. It was a victory that they would repeat a few months later in the Champions League Round of 16.

Arsenal, second last season

This time, there will not be two matches on the schedule, but only one against Mikel Arteta’s men. It’s a great challenge for Eliot Matazo and his teammates since the English team finished second in the Premier League last season, fighting almost to the end for the title against Manchester City.
