Eliesse Ben Seghir and Adi Hütter are nominated for the Trophées UNFP
With the final sprint in full swing, the time has come for the awards. The National Union of Professional Footballers revealed this Wednesday the nominees for the traditional Trophées UNFP, which reward the best performers of this Ligue 1 season. Among them are two Monegasques: Eliesse Ben Seghir for best young player and Adi Hütter for best manager.
Three in a row for Eliesse Ben Seghir
It’s a nomination that the attacking midfielder trained at the Academy is starting to get used to, having already been nominate in this category in 2023 and 2024. Barely 20 years old, the Moroccan international is coming off another promising season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in the league.
Also named Monaco Player of the Month three times and in the running for the Marc-Vivien Foé Award, he will be up against Parisians Désiré Doué and João Neves, Lille’s Ayyoub Bouaddi, and Strasbourg’s Andrey Santos.
A first nomination for the coach
While Eliesse is no stranger to this ceremony, this will be a first for Adi Hütter, who is in the running for best coach alongside Luis Enrique (PSG), Bruno Genesio (LOSC), Liam Rosenior (Strasbourg), and Eric Roy (Brest).

Arriving in the summer of 2023, the manager is still in the race with three matches remaining to lead AS Monaco to a second consecutive podium and thus to a new Champions League campaign.
