Oleg Petrov in Nice-Matin
On the eve of an important match against Olympique Lyonnais (9 p.m.), the Vice-President and CEO of AS Monaco spoke in a long interview with the local daily Nice Matin.

In the regional daily, Oleg Petrov talks about the offseason, the transfer window and Cercle Brugges. The Vice-President and CEO also looks at the important structural work that’s been carried out, in particular on the sporting side with the arrivals of Paul Mitchell, Niko Kovac and James Bunce in the position of Performance Director. These developments come as the result of “a lot of work, effort and time,” explains the Vice-President.

“Positive energy and a dynamic that gives me a lot of hope”

“I feel good energy in the team, within the club, and it is very important to me,” he says. “It is not yet reflected in the standings but it seems to me that the changes we have made, the arrivals of Paul, Niko, the Director of Performance, and also administratively, bring positive energy and a dynamic that gives me a lot of hope for this season”

The interview can be found in full in today’s edition of Nice-Matin.
