Relive the "2010s" of AS Monaco through 100 dates that have defined our club over the last ten years. Part 9.
February 4, 2018 – As the fight rages with OM and OL for a place on the podium, AS Monaco beats Lyon at Stade Louis-II. Behind 0-2 after half an hour of play and down a man  throughout the second period, the Red and Whites won 3-2 with goals by Keita Baldé, Radamel Falcao and Rony Lopes (88th)!
March 31, 2018 – At Bordeaux,AS Monaco play and lose their second straight Coupe de la Ligue final to PSG.
May 12, 2018 – A 91st minute Fabinho penalty allows AS Monaco to win against AS Saint-Etienne on matchday 37 and confirm second place with a two points lead on OL and three on OM before the last matchday.
May 19, 2018 –AS Monaco won 3-0 at Troyes and sealed second place in Ligue 1, which will offer them direct qualification to the Champions League. This is the fifth time in a row that the Red and Whites have reached the podium.
May 29,2018 – After five superb seasons in the Monaco jersey (233 games, 31 goals), Fabinho signs with Liverpool, with whom he will win the Champions League a year later!
June 12, 2018 – AS Monaco announces an agreement with Atlético Madrid for the transfer of Thomas Lemar, who then begins the 2018 World Cup with the French team. Having made his debut at the international level in the Monegasque jersey, it was as world champion that he joined the Colchoneros a few weeks later.
July 15, 2018 – The French team are crowned world champion with Benjamin Mendy, Djibril Sidibé, Thomas Lemar and especially Kylian Mbappé in its ranks. After Bruno Bellone (Euro 1984), Emmanuel Petit (World Cup 1998) and David Trezeguet (Euro 2000), the latter continues the tradition of scorers trained at AS Monaco in the major finals won by France. Didier Deschamps, whose time at AS Monaco launched his coaching career in 2001, achieves the feat of winning the World Cup as coach after having raised it twenty years earlier as captain of the ‘French team.
July 24, 2018 – Joao Moutinho, who joined AS Monaco in 2013, joins the English club Wolverhampton after five good seasons in the red and white jersey (219 games, 11 goals).
July 27,  2018 – Author of an excellent World Cup with Russia, Aleksandr Golovin joins AS Monaco and becomes the first Russian player to wear the diagonal jersey.
October 13, 2018 – After a difficult start to the season, Thierry Henry replaces Leonardo Jardim as manager and rejoins the club where he made his debut twenty years later. He will lead the side in his first match in Strasbourg a few days later (2-1 defeat).
