Aurélien Platret signs his first professional deal
AS Monaco is pleased to announce the signing of a first professional contract for Academy-trained defender Aurélien Platret.

A native of Grasse, in the Alpes-Maritimes, Aurélien Platret, at the age of 20 years old, has signed for the Principality club for one season, through June 2024. A pure product of the AS Monaco Academy, the right back has been wearing the colors of the Monegasque club since the U-15 level, having joined the Academy in the summer of 2018.

From an epic run with the U-19s to the Elite Group

This season, Aurélien Platret has been a regular member of the Elite Group, playing against Sporting Clube de Braga, Olympique Lyonnais, Chelsea Football Club and even Hertha Berlin. The previous year, he participated in the U-19s’ epic run in 2022. The Monégasques had had a very successful season in reaching the French final.

A few months earlier, Aurélien Platret had his first experience with the first team, joining the squad for the Round of 32 of the Coupe de France against Quevilly-Rouen Métropole (3-1).

Trainee contracts for five young Monégasques

AS Monaco is also pleased to announce the signing of trainee contracts for five players from the 2005 generation, winners of the Coupe Gambardella and who participated in the Elite Group’s season: midfielders Abdoulaye Sow, Soufian Awragh and Yannick Gesan, defender Allan Eser and striker Sandro Bertolucci.
