AS Monacoeur is mobilizing for caregivers

AS Monacoeur is mobilizing for caregivers
On the occasion of the AS Monaco - Nantes match on Sunday, a part of Matchday 3 in Ligue 1, the LFP have decided to pay tribute to caregivers for their involvement since the start of the COVID-19 crisis. We take this opportunity for AS Monacoeur to highlight several initiatives surrounding the match.

The health crisis is not over, but neither is our solidarity. For the 3rd matchday of Ligue 1, the Professional Football League has chosen the match between AS Monaco and Nantes, to thank caregivers for their hard work since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. The governing body of French football, which has recorded the various efforts of clubs during the health crisis, has announced that more than three million euros in donations have been collected for healthcare workers and people in precarious situations.

The CHPG and the Monegasque Red Cross in the spotlight

Donations to which must be added the many solidarity initiatives put on by the players coaches, supporters and footballing authorities. This is also without forgetting those done by AS Monacoeur, which will particularly mobilized for this match between AS Monaco and Nantes. The charity has decided to invite all the volunteers of the Monaco Red Cross who have worked during the health crisis as well as the staff of the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace of Monaco (CHPG), to attend the match.

Banners in tribute to caregivers will also be displayed in the Stade Louis-II. Thank you messages will also be broadcast before the match, with a few surprises in store. Finally, the jersey that the Rouge et Blancs will wear will display “MERCI” on the chest, once again to salute the hard work of healthcare workers since the start of the health crisis.

Win a jersey using the hashtag #SupporterDesSoignants

Three match jerseys will also be up for grabs. To try your luck and be one of the lucky ones, it’s easy: post a photo or video of yourself with a thank you message for caregivers on Twitter with the hashtag #SupporterDesSoignants. The most original will be shown on the giant screens of the stadium before the match and the creators of the three best will then receive one of the jerseys as a gift.

Finally, a check for € 7,560, amount collected through sales of masks in the club’s colors, was handed over by our equipment supplier Kappa to the Monegasque Red Cross at the match. More than ever, AS Monaco is now mobilizing to educate the general public and its fans on the importance of respecting precautions and social distancing. And with these initiatives in tribute to caregivers, the club once again thanks them for their work since the start of the health crisis. THANK YOU !
