Cercle Brugges win and moves into the top 10
AS Monaco's sister club won on Saturday at Waasland-Beveren (2-0), and climbed back into the top 10 in the Belgian league.

The Cercle Brugges return to action with a victory. Almost 24 hours after AS Monaco’s success in a duel at the Ligue 1 summit against Paris Saint-Germain (3-2), the players of Paul Clement won as well away to Waasland-Beveren (2-0). A solid success, thanks in part to the return of Harisson Marcelin to the British manager’s starting XI, after two games of absence due to an injury.

Marcelin is back and Biancone is in the team of the week

The defender on loan from the Principality club was making his return to central defense, just like Giulian Biancone on the right side of the Brugges rearguard. Anthony Musaba also started on the right wing of the attack for the Green and Blacks, who defeated their opponent in the evening, thanks to a brace from Englishman Ike Ugbo (22). With this victory in hand, their sixth in twelve matches this season, Cercle Bruges are back in the top 10 in the Jupiler Pro League, currently eighth.

The next match for the teammates of our three Monegasques comes Wednesday against Mouscron, in the last match of the 10th round of the Belgian league, before a visit from Racing Genk, next Saturday (6.30 p.m.). Bravo messieurs !

Rise. Risk. Repeat.
