AS Monaco announces a permanent transfer for Pietro Pellegri, the 21-year-old Italian striker, to Torino FC, who finished 10th in Serie A.

The Italian international (1 cap) had been on loan to the Turin-based club since last January. This season, he has played nine games and scored 1 goal for Torino FC, who finished the 2021-2022 season in tenth place in the Italian league. He had previously been loaned to AC Milan during the first part of the season.

Youngest player to start a match for AS Monaco

A native of Genoa, Pietro Pellegri impressed very early on with Genoa FC, his training club. Having arrived on the Rock in January 2018, he became a month later, on February 17, 2018, the youngest AS Monaco player for more than forty years to play a match in the French top flight against Dijon (16 years old and 336 days).

Pietro Pellegri played 23 games in Rouge et Blanc, scoring 2 goals.
