DENNIS SCHMITT Coach

33-year-old Dennis Schmitt arrives from the Eintracht Frankfurt reserve team, which he had been managing since 2024. Under his leadership, the German squad had a remarkable season in the Hessenliga, concluding with 29 wins, 3 draws, and only 2 defeats. Prior to this experience, the German coach managed the U19 and reserve teams of SC Paderborn 07. He also served as an assistant coach at Royal Excel Mouscron and then at VV Sint-Truiden in Belgium, before stepping in as interim manager of the Eintracht Frankfurt first team on four occasions this season. A former midfielder who played notably for Mainz and FC Würzburger Kickers, Dennis Schmitt saw his playing career end prematurely at just 25 years old due to a serious injury. He then quickly transitioned into coaching. Dennis Schmitt's mission this season will be to support and develop players, mostly from the 2008-2009 generations, within the Elite Group, with the aim of strengthening its role as a bridge between the Academy and the first team.
