With two assists, the Brazilian left back was elected MVP of the match against PSV Eindhoven (2-1) by you, the Rouge et Blanc fans on the AS Monaco App.

Caio Henrique was in a giving mood Thursday evening in Eindhoven. At the Philips Stadion, the home of PSV, the left back greatly contributed to a big win for  AS Monaco (2-1), which was playing its 200th European match, by delivering an assist for each of the two Monegasque goals.

First, the Brazilian played a long ball for Myron Boadu, who was able to control with one touch and thus score his first goal for the Club (20′). Then, as the Dutch side exerted constant pressure on Alexander Nübel’s goal, the Monegasque number 12 got forward and delivered a perfect cross for Sofiane Diop, scorer of the winning goal in the 89th minute. .

Already six assists this season!

In 16 matches played this season, Caio Henrique now has six assists (3 in Ligue 1, 2 in the Europa League, 1 in qualifying for the Champions League), which is already one more than last season (five in 36 matches).
