Chrislain Matsima is loaned to Clermont Foot 63
Originally from Colombes in the Paris region, and having trained at AS Monaco, Chrislain Matsima has played 41 matches with the Rouge et Blanc since his professional debut in September 2020 against Strasbourg, at just 18 years old (3-2 victory).
A French U-21 International
This season, the 1m93 defender, capable of playing in the center as well as the flanks, has played in seven matches. Chrislain has started four times, the last one being the team’s qualification against Rodez on January 20, in the Coupe de France (3-1).
A sign of his progress, the defender born in 2002 was called up twice this fall with Thierry Henry’s French U-21s, with two starts and a goal. Chrislain will defend the colors of Clermont Foot 63 until the end of the season.
