A first professional contract for Saïmon Bouabré
AS Monaco is pleased to announce Saïmon Bouabré's first professional contract. The 17-year-old attacking midfielder, trained at the Academy, will continue his adventure at AS Monaco through 2026.

After Ritchy Valme, Lucas Michal and Mayssam Benama, a fourth Coupe Gambardella winner has signed a first professional deal with AS Monaco. Having joined the Academy in the summer of 2021, Saïmon Bouabré, 17 since June 1, has signed a deal through 2026 with the Club.

7 goals, 4 assists this season

Born in Saint-Etienne, the attacking midfielder had previously played with AS Saint-Etienne, Andrézieux-Bouthéon Football Club and SC Air Bel. Saïmon Bouabré  had a fine 2022-2023 season, playing 36 games with the Principality’s U19s and the French U-17s team (7 goals, 4 assists).

Winner and scorer in the Gambardella final

A driving force for Frédéric Barilaro’s U-19s this season, Saïmon Bouabré played six Coupe Gambardella games as a starter, contributing greatly to the success of the Monegasque club in the competition. Scorer of a goal against Aubagne in the Round of 64 (4-1), he did it again against Nancy in the quarterfinal (3-0), then against Rouen (3-1) and finally in the final against Clermont Foot (4-2).

A confirmed U-17 International!

Lively and technically at ease, the Frenchinternational left winger (12 games with the French national team at U-16 level) distinguished himself again at the end of the season, this time with the French U-17s, as part of the last European Championships, which were completed in early June.

Wearing the number 8 for Les Bleuets, he started six games and had three assists, allowing the French U-17s to reach the final, where they lost on penalties to Germany.

AS Monaco wishes him all the best in Rouge et Blanc this season! 🇲🇨
