A native of the Paris region, Lucas began his career as a young footballer at US Ivry, before joining Paris FC and then Torcy. Spotted by AS Monaco, the right-footed striker is an optimist by nature, believing that ‘even when everything is going wrong, you should smile!’ He was one of the architects of Monaco's success in the 2023 Gambardella Cup. The Academy-trained striker signed with the Club until June 2026 and then 2029. With 11 goals in 33 games with the Elite Group, Lucas gradually joined the professional squad and played his first minutes in the top flight against Nantes in the last game of the 2023-2024 season. His strong performances convinced Bernard Diomède to select him for the U19 European Championship, where he scored a goal against Turkey and finished as a runner-up. The following season, the striker became a regular feature in the first team, playing in 13 matches in all competitions, including three in the Champions League. Selected for the French U20 team to compete in the Maurice Revello Tournament alongside Mayssam Benama, Saïmon Bouabré and Aladji Bamba, he contributed to the U20s' 14th title in the competition, notably scoring the winning goal against Panama in the group stage.
