MATTHIS ABLINE Forward

Drawn to the opponent's goal from a young age, Matthis Abline began playing football at FC2L Laurentais Landemont, before joining USJA Carquefou in 2014 and then the Pôle Espoirs in Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire for two years. In 2018, the young forward joined the Stade Rennais FC academy, where he notably played in the Youth League. He gradually integrated into the professional squad and made his Ligue 1 debut on April 25, 2021, against Dijon FCO, before scoring his first goal against Rosenborg FK in August 2021. Between January 2022 and January 2023, Matthis was successively loaned to Le Havre AC (Ligue 2) and AJ Auxerre (Ligue 1) to gain playing time, and finally to Nantes, starting in August 2023. Initially on loan during the 2023-2024 season, which he began with a goal in his very first start for the Canaries, he was permanently transferred in the summer of 2024 following convincing performances. During the 2024-2025 campaign, he continued to gather momentum and finished as FC Nantes' top scorer (11 goals, 2 assists). Following another full season in the top flight in 2025-26 (8 goals and 7 assists in 35 matches), the center-forward (1.82m) joined AS Monaco to put his qualities at the service of the Rouge et Blanc.
