Kassoum Ouattara joined AS Monaco on November 1, 2023, from Amiens SC, arriving in the Principality after making a name for himself in Ligue 2 with the Picardy-based club. He made his Ligue 1 debut just days after his arrival against Stade Brestois 29, coming off the bench in the Rouge & Blanc’s 2-0 victory. A few months later, he scored the first goal of his professional career against Montpellier HSC (2-0), sealing a win that secured the Club’s return to the UEFA Champions League.

Nearly 60 appearances for AS Monaco 📊

Over three seasons in Monaco colours, Kassoum made 57 appearances, including nine in the Champions League, recording one goal and seven assists. He contributed to the Club’s strong Ligue 1 performances, helping Monaco secure two podium finishes in three campaigns, as well as two consecutive qualifications for the Champions League qualifying rounds. His performances for the Principality side earned him a call-up to the France U21 national team in 2024, alongside Christian Mawissa.

Discovering a new league in Turkey 🇹🇷

Kassoum went on to make three appearances for Les Bleuets. That same year, he also took part in the prestigious Maurice Revello Tournament, which brings together U21 national teams from around the world.

Kassoum will now continue his career in the colours of Beşiktaş JK. The left-back is set to experience a new league by joining the side that finished fourth in last season’s Süper Lig.

Thank you, Kassoum!
