Having arrived at the Academy in the summer of 2025, Oumar Konaté (19) has now joined Stade Lavallois on a season-long loan deal. The striker, who is under contract with the Principality club until June 2030, will continue his development in Ligue 2. Following an impressive campaign with the Elite Group, during which he featured in the Premier League International Cup (PLIC) and the UEFA Youth League, playing his part in victories over Bodø/Glimt, Pafos and Galatasaray, Oumar Konaté was promoted to the first-team squad for pre-season this summer.

He featured in fixtures against AS Saint-Priest, Cercle Brugge (AS Monaco’s partner club), Getafe, Liverpool and Coventry City. Building on that momentum, Oumar Konaté made his professional debut in the UEFA Conference League play-offs against Górnik Zabrze (3-2), before making his first Ligue 1 appearance a few days later against Le Havre (1-0).

An Ivory Coast U20 international 🇨🇮

Alongside his club commitments, the striker represents the Ivory Coast U20 national team, with whom he notably secured third place at the prestigious Maurice Revello Tournament last June. Oumar Konaté will now continue his development with Stade Lavallois in Ligue 2 through to the end of the season.

AS Monaco wishes him every success with Les Tango. Daghe Oumar!
