A product of the Academy, Yann Lienard will continue his development on loan with AS Monaco’s sister club, who compete in the Jupiler Pro League. Yann will reunite with defender Valy Konaté and forward Lucas Michal, both also on loan for the season with the Vert et Noir.

From the Academy to his Coupe de France debut 🏆

Joining AS Monaco in the summer of 2019 from Air‑Bel (Provence‑Alpes‑Côte d’Azur) at the age of 16, Yann Lienard progressed through every stage of the Academy, from youth teams to the first team. Integrated into the professional squad since the 2022‑2023 season, his journey was rewarded in December 2024 when he earned his first start in the 4‑1 win over Union Saint‑Jean in the Coupe de France Round of 64.

Two pre‑season appearances 🏟️

Alongside this, Yann regularly featured with the Elite Group, gaining valuable playing time. He made two appearances with the first team during summer preparation, against AS Saint‑Priest and Cercle Brugge. Yann Lienard, who extended his contract with AS Monaco by one season until June 2028, will continue his development this year with the Vert et Noir.

AS Monaco wishes Yann all the best with the Groen‑Zwart this season! 🟢⚫
