Mika Biereth was born in London on 8 February 2003. Of Danish and Bosnian origin, the athletic striker (1m87) trained at Fulham (25 goals and 15 assists in 37 games with the U18s) before joining Arsenal in 2021, where he signed his first professional contract. In the Gunners' youth teams, he excelled alongside Folarin Balogun, scoring 12 goals and providing 5 assists in over 20 appearances (U21). To gain experience, Mika Biereth continued his career on loan in the Netherlands, making his professional debut with RKC Waalwijk (13 games, 2 goals, 2022-23 season). He then moved to the Scottish league, again on loan, with Motherwell FC (15 games, 6 goals, 5 assists in six months), before joining SK Sturm Graz in January 2024 and transferring there the following summer. With the Austrian club, the Danish U-21 international (6 games, 1 goal) scored 23 goals and provided 9 assists in 47 games. Thanks to his ability in front of goal and his movement, he made a major contribution to Sturm Graz's historic season, which saw them win the Austrian league for the first time since 2011, while also winning the Austrian Cup and completing the league and cup double for the second time in their history. Having arrived during the season, he did not have to wait long to make his mark. Scoring 13 goals in just 14 appearances in Ligue 1, he became the first player in the 21st century to do so in a single season, just one shy of the all-time record held by Nantes' Hugo Alberto Curioni in... 1973-1974 !
