It's already time for the first break of the season! After three matches played and one last victory snatched against Strasbourg (3-2), no fewer than 25 players from the professional squad or from the Academy will now join their national teams. So, before two weeks of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup or friendly matches, here is the schedule for our international players! 📆
A big debut for Maghnes
And among those involved, Maghnes Akliouche is certainly the happiest. Having scored twice in August, the midfielder trained at the Academy will indeed play for France, as they participate in World Cup qualifiers. Mika Biereth (Denmark), Denis Zakaria (Switzerland), Mohammed Salisu (Ghana), Lamine Camara and Krépin Diatta (Senegal), as well as Caio Henrique (Brazil) will also take part in the qualifiers.
Two comebacks and an all-Monegasque duel
The left back will thus make his grand return to the Auriverde, almost two years later. With one cap to date, it's a reward for him, having returned to a high level after a serious knee injury sustained shortly after his debut with Brazil. This international break will finally be an opportunity to witness a matchup of Monégasque between Takumi Minamino's Japan and the USMNT of Folarin Balogun.
