Samuel Nibombé joined the Club of the Principality from Sporting Charleroi, where he played during the 2022–2023 season with the U18 side. His performances earned the Mons native regular call-ups to Belgium’s youth national teams. Representing the Red Devils at U15, U16 and U17 level, Nibombé has made over twenty appearances—mostly as captain—including 10 clean sheets. After a full 2023–2024 season with the U19s of AS Monaco, where he made 19 appearances and scored twice, Samuel Nibombé joined the Elite Group during the 2024–2025 pre-season. The centre-back enjoyed a successful campaign, featuring in competitions such as the Premier League International Cup (PLIC), the Challenge Espoirs and the UEFA Youth League, playing in 6 of the 7 matches contested by the Red & Whites. Now under contract with the Club until 2027, the Belgium U18 captain has also made three appearances in Adi Hütter’s first-team squad, for UEFA Champions League fixtures against Bologna FC 1909 and Arsenal FC, as well as a Ligue 1 match against Angers SCO.
