Jules Stawiecki joins AS Monaco!

Jules Stawiecki joins AS Monaco!
AS Monaco is pleased to announce the signing of Jules Stawiecki. The 16-year-old French U17 international goalkeeper has signed for three seasons and is now linked to the Principality club until June 2026.

Born in Dijon on April 10, 2007, Jules Stawiecki took his first steps in football at FC Daix, before joining Dijon FCO in 2013, where he completed his entire training.

A French U-17 international

After playing with the U-17s last season (18 starts) as well as with the U-19s, Jules Stawiecki is competing in National 3 this year (Dijon are currently fourth in their group). Comfortable with his feet, mature and proactive on the pitch, it was only natural that he found a place with the DFCO reserves (10 starts) at just 16 years old.

Jules Stawiecki has also been playing this season with the France U-17s. He notably started in November, against Estonia and Romania, as part of the qualifiers for the U-17 Euros which will take place in Cyprus next May.

He already knows Pape Cabral and Nick Mokabakila

The 1m86 goalkeeper is thus a regular on international duty. Called up for the first time with the French U-16s in August 2022, Jules Stawiecki has since been present as a France international (with the U16s and the U17s) on 15 occasions, sharing the field alongside Pape Cabral and Nick Mokabakila, which he will rejoin at the Academy.

Due to his qualities, which fit into the playing philosophy of AS Monaco, and in the continuity of his progression, Jules Stawiecki will join the Elite Group led by Damien Perrinelle.

AS Monaco wishes him every success in Rouge et Blanc! 🇲🇨
