The picture is now almost complete. While continuing their pre-season preparations, AS Monaco now know the two possible opponents they could face in the UEFA Conference League play-offs. Following Monday's draw conducted by UEFA, the Club from the Principality will meet the loser of the tie between Hungarian champions Ferencváros and Polish side Górnik Zabrze.

A familiar foe or a first-ever meeting 🆕

While their opponents will only be confirmed on Thursday 13 August, one thing is already certain: a meeting with the reigning Hungarian Cup winners would mark a reunion three years after the clubs faced each other in the 2022-23 UEFA Europa League group stage (0-1 defeat, 1-1 draw). A tie against the reigning Polish Cup holders, meanwhile, would be a first in the Club's history. Although UEFA has yet to confirm the kick-off times, the first leg will be played away from home on Thursday 20 August, with the return leg taking place at the Stade Louis-II one week later. Three more pre-season tests before the play-offs 🔜

Before those decisive fixtures, with a place in the UEFA Conference League league phase at stake, Filipe Luís' side still have three pre-season matches and a training camp in England to continue building momentum. The Rouge et Blanc will first host Getafe at the Stade Louis-II this Thursday (20:00), before travelling to Liverpool on Sunday 9 August (15:30), and then facing Coventry on Friday 14 August (20:30).
