Boubakar Dembaga joins Sporting Charleroi

AS Monaco can confirm the departure of Boubakar Dembaga to Belgian top-flight side Royal Charleroi Sporting Club.

After arriving at the Club from Paris FC in June 2024, Boubakar Dembaga signed his first professional contract with the Rouge & Blanc. During his debut season at the Club, the defensive midfielder played his part in AS Monaco’s run to the Challenge Espoirs final, while also featuring in the Club’s 2024-25 UEFA Youth League campaign and helping the U19s retain their place in the Championnat National.

A Mali U23 international 🇲🇱

A member of the Elite Group, where he had the opportunity to test himself against some of Europe’s top teams, the Aulnay-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis) native earned his first call-up to the Mali U23 national team in November 2025.
