Mohamed Camara: "We will have to play a complete match tomorrow"
On the eve of facing Toulouse (3 p.m.), as part of the 14th matchday in Ligue 1, the midfielder spoke before the media in a press conference.

AS Monaco have the possibility of concluding the week perfectly. Winners against Angers last Sunday (2-0) then qualified for the Round of 32 of the Europa League thanks to a big victory against Red Star Belgrade (4-1), the Rouge et Blanc  will aim to make it three in a row in Toulouse on Sunday at 3 p.m. . It is from this perspective that Mohamed Camara spoke at a press conference at the team’s Performance Center.

Having missed the last two matches

It hurt me to not be with my teammates in the last two matches because they needed me. I did my best to support them remotely. It’s up to me to be careful in the next matches so as not to put them in difficulty, starting with managing with ten men. I will have to do my best not to pick up a yellow card even if in my position, it is not easy to avoid them.

I'm really happy and proud to be here. Everyone has welcomed me and that made my integration easier. AS Monaco, which is one of the biggest clubs in France, is an ideal place to progress in good conditions and continue to grow as a man and also as a player.

His development at AS Monaco

I’m really happy and proud to be here. Everyone has welcomed me and that made my integration easier. AS Monaco, which is one of the biggest clubs in France, is an ideal place to progress in good conditions and continue to grow as a man and also as a player.

His leadership role in the squad

I’m naturally like that and I’m also well positioned on the pitch to lead my teammates like I’ve done with Salzburg or Mali. That’s why I talk a lot with my teammates to try to help them as best I can.

His ambitions

Scoring my first goal here is a goal in the weeks and months to come. I have already scored three times with Mali because I play in a more attacking position. But the main thing for me is to see the team win and if I don’t score, it doesn’t matter. But, if the possibility arises, I will do everything to make it happen.

In the future, I would still like to do better than the Malian midfielders like Seydou Keita or Mahamadou Diarra who have already had great careers. I am also in regular contact with Seydou. He gives me a lot of advice and advised me to come to AS Monaco because he knew that the French league would suit me.

We have a lot of ambition in this competition and we will do everything to go as far as possible and why not win it like Eintracht Frankfurt last season.

Qualification for the knockout stages of the Europa League

We have a lot of ambition in this competition and we will do everything to go as far as possible and why not win it like Eintracht Frankfurt last season. In the next round, it would be a pleasure for me to face Red Bull Salzburg since they are my old team. But I am now an AS Monaco player and I will do my best to beat them and qualify for the next round if we face them.

His partnership with Youssouf Fofana

Youssouf is a great player. We understand each other very well on the pitch and we are also friends off the pitch. We give all our qualities to the service of the team. I am happy to play with him and I wish him the best in his career. I know he will always be there no matter the situation and I will fight for him and for the team at all times.

On the opponent, Toulouse

Tomorrow will certainly be a challenging match because Toulouse are a good team and they are in good form. We will have to play a complete match tomorrow if we want to win, but we have the possibility of causing them problems. One thing is certain, we will do everything to win this match.

Rise. Risk. Repeat.
