Soungoutou Magassa extends his contract
The young midfielder trained at AS Monaco is now linked to the Club of the Principality until 2027.

Born in Stains, Seine-Saint-Denis, Soungoutou Magassa joined the Academy in the summer of 2018 after having played for the Ile-de-France clubs of Sucy-en-Brie, Joinville, Saint-Maur as well as Paris 13 Atlético.

Four games played in pro

A trained midfielder, he signed his first professional contract in May 2021 before making his debut in an official match a few months later, during Monaco’s 3-1 win over Quevilly-Rouen in the French Cup. A member of the 2003 generation, Soungoutou made his Ligue 1 Uber Eats debut on 13 August against Stade Rennais (1-1) and recently played in the match against FC Nantes.

Winner of Chelsea with the Elite Group

Regularly called up to the professional group by Philippe Clement, Soungoutou Magassa has also taken part in several Elite Group matches, including the latest one against Chelsea FC at the Performance Centre (3-2 victory). At the same time, the Academy-trained player was called up for the first time with the French U20 team in September 2022. He has two caps for the French national team.
