Born in Troyes on April 29, 2007, Mathys Detourbet began playing football at ES Municipaux Troyes before joining ESTAC in 2015. Developed at the Aube club, he completed his entire youth training there up until the signing of his first professional contract on May 8, 2025. Gradually, he established himself in the Troyes rotation and played 13 matches during the second half of the 2024-2025 season, offering a glimpse of his potential. Then completing a full 2025-2026 season in the Troyes shirt, Mathys Detourbet played 37 matches, scoring 4 goals and providing 7 assists. An explosive player, capable of making a difference on his flank, he distinguished himself through his directness and one-on-one dribbling ability. These performances led Manchester City to sign him at the end of the season. He will now continue his development at AS Monaco as part of a loan deal. On the Rock, Mathys Detourbet will reunite with several players he crossed paths with in the French youth national teams, including Aladji Bamba, Jules Stawiecki, Pape Cabral, and Ilane Touré.
