Arriving at Monaco in the summer of 2020 from Atlético de Madrid, Caio Henrique quickly established himself within the squad. Born in Santos, Brazil, the left back made his mark at AS Monaco with his consistency, elegance on the ball, and passing ability, which became one of his defining characteristics in Rouge et Blanc.

AS Monaco's second-most assists in the 21st century 🥈

With 39 assists in 211 appearances, Caio has established himself as one of the club's best passers of the 21st century, ranking second only to Aleksandr Golovin (45). In his very first season, he contributed to the Rouge et Blanc's impressive run in the Coupe de France, where they reached the final. Over the years, he has also been a key player for the club in several successful Ligue 1 campaigns, contributing to four podium finishes in six seasons.

Five caps for Brazil 🇧🇷

His performances with AS Monaco also opened the doors to the Seleção, just like his teammate Vanderson. Rewarded with his first call-up to the Brazilian national team, Caio made his international debut and now boasts five appearances for the five-time world champions. After six seasons in Rouge et Blanc, Caio is now preparing to take on a new challenge in the Netherlands, with Ajax Amsterdam.

AS Monaco thanks Caio for his commitment, his attitude, and all the moments shared in the Monaco jersey. The Club wishes him every success for the rest of his career!

Thank you, Caio! 🇲🇨
