Euro 2024, Nations League, 2026 World Cup Qualifying… What's ahead for our internationals

Euro 2024, Nations League, 2026 World Cup Qualifying… What's ahead for our internationals
Between qualifiers for different competitions, finals and friendlies, no less than 19 Monegasque internationals will be in action this November. Here is their schedule in detail.

There are (almost) as many as last month. In this new international window, no less than 19 players from AS Monaco have joined their countries for international duty. First on deck, Saïmon Bouabré and Joan Tincres started the U17 World Cup with the French team in the best possible way, winning their first match against Burkina Faso (3-0).

Switzerland look to seal qualification

But they are not the only ones to be playing in the finals of competition, since Folarin Balogun is preparing to play the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Nations League against Trinidad and Tobago. In qualifying, Youssouf Fofana and Denis Zakaria will close their qualifying campaigns for Euro 2024 with France and Switzerland respectively.  Where France are already qualified for the tournament, the Nati still have to punch their ticket.

The 2026 World Cup on the horizon

On other continents, however, they’ll be looking towards the 2026 World Cup! This is the case for Africans in particular: Mohamed Camara with Mali, Wilfried Singo with Ivory Coast and the duo of Diatta and Jakobs with Senegal. But also  Takumi Minamino with Japan and Guillermo Maripán and Chili. Elsewhere, Eliot Matazo (U-21s) and Samuel Nibombé (U-17s)  will be in action with Belgium.

(Many) youngsters in action

Five other young players trained at the Academy will join the French U-19s as well, including Kassoum Ouattara, the newest Monegasque recruit. Here are all the details,  of the program of our 19 Rouge et Blanc internationals. Read on for our overview 🌍
