Mohamed Camara is your MVP against Paris Saint-Germain!
Author of a sublime performance, notably being at the origin of the goal scored by the Rouge et Blanc, the AS Monaco midfielder was elected MVP of the match against PSG (1-1) by you the Monegasque fans on the AS Monaco App.

He made the best of his first start in his new colors in the best possible way! Mohamed Camara, a starter in midfield alongside Youssouf Fofana, delivered a “capital” performance in AS Monaco’s draw away to Paris Saint-Germain (1-1).

Involved in the Monegasques’ goal

Playing next to Youssouf Fofana in midfield, the number 4 shined in the recovery phase of the game (seven recoveries made, best among the Monegasques with Benoît Badiashile).

And it was from one of them that the opener, Kevin Volland’s goal came in the 20th minute. With a perfect sliding tackle at the feet of Lionel Messi in midfield, Mohamed Camara seized the ball. After a one-two between Aleksandr Golovin and the German, Volland finished well past Gigio Donnarumma.

A first MVP of the season

The Monegasque midfielder also had his class on display in terms of keeping the ball (87.1% pass completion), and drew four fouls. This was the most in the match, level with Neymar.

It is therefore only natural that Mohamed Camara was elected MVP of the clash against PSG with 51% of the votes on the AS Monaco App by Monegasque supporters. It was his first man of the match title this season, in his first start. It is also a second reward on this meeting since he appeared in the team of the round for the fourth matchday. Bravo Mohamed!
