Wissam Ben Yedder is the MVP against Brest!

Wissam Ben Yedder is the MVP against Brest!
Auteur d'un triplé, le capitaine des Rouge et Blanc a (forcément) été élu MVP du match face à Brest (4-2), ce samedi à l'occasion de la 37e journée de Ligue 1.

It was a dream weekend for Wissam Ben Yedder! This Saturday, the captain of AS Monaco delivered a masterclass,  scoring a hat-trick against Stade Brestois (4-2), as part of the 37th matchday in Ligue 1. And not just any hat-trick, as it was a “perfect hat-trick”, namely a goal with his right (44′ pen), one with his left (51′) and one with his head (54′).

I'm focused on winning these matches, even if today I scored a hat-trick which makes me very happy, because it has been a long time since I scored one. Now I want to seal our qualification for the Champions League.

With this majestic performance, the French international was logically voted MVP of the match by the fans on the AS Monaco App, with… 97% of the votes! It was just one more reward for a player who had received, just before the match, the trophy for best player of the second half of the season from the Club’s supporters’ groups.

Part of the team of the year at the Trophées UNFP

With now 24 goals in Ligue 1, the best performance of his career in a single season, “Captain Wissam” is only one goal behind Kylian Mbappé, currently the top scorer in the league. It’s an amazing season which logically earned him, like his teammate Aurélien Tchouameni, a place in the team of the year this Sunday at theTrophées UNFP. Bravo to our “artist”!
